{"id":1040,"date":"2026-05-30T10:00:00","date_gmt":"2026-05-30T10:00:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/ems2025-post-1040"},"modified":"2026-07-10T13:16:43","modified_gmt":"2026-07-10T11:16:43","slug":"the-big-challenge-2026","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/emsschwadorf.web12.comsed.cloud\/index.php\/2026\/05\/30\/the-big-challenge-2026\/","title":{"rendered":"The Big Challenge 2026"},"content":{"rendered":"<div style=\"text-align: justify;\" dir=\"ltr\">The main aim of The Big Challenge is to encourage the learning of English through fun and educational activities, and to support the teaching of English in schools.\u00a0<br \/>The Big Challenge Contest is a Europe-wide English language contest for primary and secondary school students, enabling them to make progress in the language while having fun at the same time.<br \/>The Contest takes place in spring, typically in May, across many European countries.<br \/>\u00a0A great motivational tool, the contest is taken by over 500 000 students every year in Europe.<br \/>97 pupils from our school participated in The Big Challenge and did great. Our best students are Lukas Kucybala, Leana Toifl-Tusch, Moritz Fa\u00dflabend (Level I), Kemal G\u00fccl\u00fc, Joseph G\u00f6rlich, Hana Vrenezi (Level II) and Marie Paulus, Philip Cota-Toth, Lewin Edenhofer (Level III). Particularly noteworthy is that Kemal G\u00fccl\u00fc achieved the 9th place countrywide (Lower Austria) out of a total of 630 participants.<br \/>All students got a certificate, a pencil, a poster and other prizes (e.g. English books, flags, dairies, USB-Sticks\u2026).<br \/>Congratulations to all our students.
