Each child dressed as a pirate, complete with eye patches and pirate hats.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The main activity was a description exercise, where kids followed had to describe their own outfits. Along the way, they learned pirate words like \u201chook hand\u201d, \u201cwooden leg\u201d and \u201ctreasure.\u201d There was also a game where children had to trade with other pirates to complete their treasure lists!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">As teachers, we really enjoyed watching the kids\u2019 confidence and vocabulary grow.
